- Oversee the payroll and commission accounting processes for a global workforce.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll and commission calculations.
- Lead and mentor a team of payroll and commission accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to payroll and commission accounting, and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address any discrepancies or errors in payroll and commission calculations.
- Manage relationships with external payroll and commission service providers.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records for all payroll and commission transactions.
- Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Continuously evaluate and improve payroll and commission accounting processes to adapt to the company's changing needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and commission payments.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding any payroll or commission-related inquiries.
- Represent the company in any payroll or commission-related audits or investigations.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Uphold company values and policies, and promote a positive and inclusive work culture within the team.
Extensive Experience In Payroll And Commission Accounting: A Senior Manager At Salesforce Must Have A Strong Background In Both Payroll And Commission Accounting, With At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In These Fields. They Should Be Well-Versed In Payroll Processing, Tax Laws, Commission Calculations, And Other Related Tasks.
Demonstrated Leadership Skills: A Successful Senior Manager At Salesforce Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Leading Teams In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. They Should Have The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Delegate Tasks, And Ensure Deadlines Are Met.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Manager, It Is Important To Have Exceptional Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Complex Payroll And Commission-Related Issues. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Trends, And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Improve Processes And Procedures.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Payroll Systems And Software: Salesforce Requires A Senior Manager With Extensive Knowledge Of Payroll Systems And Software, Such As Adp, Workday, Or Oracle. They Should Also Have Experience With Data Management And Reporting Tools To Effectively Monitor And Analyze Payroll And Commission Data.
