- Lead and manage the M&A Change Management and Experience team to ensure successful integration of acquisitions.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for M&A activities, including identifying potential targets and evaluating potential risks and opportunities.
- Oversee the execution of M&A integration strategies, including coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines and budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in M&A and change management, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the legal team to review and negotiate M&A agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on M&A activities and progress.
- Identify and address potential roadblocks and challenges during the integration process, and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, and participate in networking opportunities to develop and maintain relationships with potential partners.
Extensive Experience In M&A Change Management: The Senior Manager Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Leading Change Management Initiatives For M&A Transactions. This Includes Managing Communication Plans, Stakeholder Engagement, And Cultural Integration Strategies.
Strong Understanding Of M&A Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The M&A Process, Including Due Diligence, Integration Planning, And Post-Merger Integration. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Coordinating With External Partners.
Expertise In Change Management Methodologies: The Senior Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Change Management Methodologies, Such As Adkar, Prosci, Or Kotter's 8-Step Process. They Should Be Able To Develop And Execute Effective Change Management Plans Tailored To The Unique Needs Of Each M&A Transaction.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: The Senior Manager Should Have Exceptional Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels. They Should Also Possess Strong Project Management Abilities To Drive Results And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
Experience In The Tech Industry: Salesforce Is A Leading Technology Company, And The Senior Manager Should Have Prior Experience In The Tech Industry. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of The M&A Landscape, Emerging Trends, And Best Practices Within The Industry. Experience With Salesforce Products And Services Is Also Preferred.
