- Develop and implement a comprehensive third-party risk management program for our global supplier network.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all supplier contracts and agreements include appropriate security and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and track supplier performance and compliance, and communicate any issues or concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon the third-party risk management program to align with industry best practices and regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on supplier risk management, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
- Conduct trainings and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of third-party risk management throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure open communication and collaboration on risk management initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in third-party risk management to inform and enhance our program.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the status of the third-party risk management program and any identified risks.
Extensive Experience In Supplier And Third-Party Risk Management: The Senior Director Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Supplier And Third-Party Risks, Including Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Creating Mitigation Plans.
Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Relevant Regulations And Standards Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, And Iso 27001. They Should Also Have Experience In Ensuring Compliance With These Regulations For Third-Party Suppliers.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Senior Director Will Be Responsible For Building Relationships With Suppliers And Negotiating Contracts. Therefore, Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Crucial For This Role.
Proven Track Record In Project Management: The Senior Director Should Be Able To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Ensure Timely Delivery Of Risk Management Initiatives. They Should Also Have Experience In Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Budgets.
