Senior Director, SOX Strategy & Maturation

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Senior Director to join our team at Salesforce and lead our SOX Strategy & Maturation program. At Salesforce, our SOX Strategy & Maturation program is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SOX compliance program across the organization. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and drive change, implement best practices and build sustainable processes.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in internal and external audit, accounting, finance, consulting and/or SOX compliance. Familiarity with US GAAP and COSO Framework is essential, as is the ability to review and assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. To thrive in this role, the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as strong business acumen and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive SOX compliance program across the organization.
2. Anticipate and drive change, implement best practices and build sustainable processes.
3. Review and assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
4. Demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as strong business acumen.
5. Work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and COSO Framework.
7. Identify areas of improvement and maintain records of compliance.
8. Monitor changes in industry regulations and standards.
9. Liaise with external auditors and other relevant authorities.
10. Develop and review SOX processes and procedures.
