Job Description

As the Senior Director of Partner Marketing for Amazon Web Services (AWS) at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success for our company by building and executing strategic marketing initiatives with our valued partner, AWS.   1. Develop and execute a comprehensive partner marketing strategy with AWS that aligns with Salesforce's overall business goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to identify joint opportunities and develop go-to-market plans that drive mutual growth and success.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at AWS, including marketing, sales, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and successful execution of joint initiatives.
  4. Create and manage joint marketing programs and campaigns, leveraging both Salesforce and AWS platforms and channels, to generate awareness, demand, and leads for both companies.
  5. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify new opportunities for partnership growth and differentiation in the market.
  6. Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on the partnership between Salesforce and AWS, representing the companies at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  7. Develop and manage the partner marketing budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to maximize ROI.
  8. Mentor and lead a team of partner marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to help them achieve their full potential.
  9. Measure and report on the success of partner marketing initiatives, providing regular updates and insights to key stakeholders and using data to drive continuous improvement.
  10. Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends to inform and enhance partner marketing strategies and tactics.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Partner Marketing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Partner Marketing, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Role. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Partner Marketing Strategies.

  • Deep Understanding Of Aws Ecosystem: As This Role Focuses On Aws Partnership, The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Aws Ecosystem, Including The Product Offerings, Target Audience, And Competitive Landscape. Experience Working With Aws Or Other Cloud-Based Platforms Is Highly Desired.

  • Strong Communication And Relationship Building Skills: The Senior Director Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Key Aws Partners, As Well As Internal Stakeholders. Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills Are Crucial In This Role.

  • Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And Be Able To Develop And Execute Long-Term Partner Marketing Plans Aligned With The Overall Business Goals Of Salesforce. They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of The Technology Industry And Market Trends.
