As a member of our Finops team, you will play a critical role in managing our cloud financial operations and ensuring that our cloud resources are utilized in the most cost-effective manner.   1. Manage and optimize cloud financial operations for Salesforce, ensuring cost-effectiveness across all cloud environments.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize cloud spend and drive efficiency across the organization.
  3. Monitor and analyze cloud usage and cost trends, providing recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain budget targets and track spending against targets.
  5. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for cost optimization and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with cloud service providers to negotiate favorable contracts and pricing.
  7. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about cloud resource allocation and utilization.
  8. Develop and maintain financial reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into cloud spend and trends.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud financial management to continuously improve processes and strategies.
  10. Communicate and present financial performance and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members on cloud financial management best practices.
  12. Collaborate with other teams, such as IT and Finance, to ensure alignment of cloud financial operations with overall business objectives.
  13. Identify and implement tools and processes to automate and streamline cloud financial management tasks.
  14. Proactively identify and address potential financial risks and make recommendations for risk mitigation.
  15. Uphold a high standard of integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial operations.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Computing And Experience Working With Major Cloud Providers, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Experience Managing Budgets And Cost Optimization Strategies In A Cloud Environment.

  • Prior Experience With Cloud Cost Management Tools And Frameworks, Such As Cloudhealth Or Apptio, And The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Data To Make Informed Financial Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Financial Information To Senior Management.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Driving Cost Savings And Efficiency Improvements In A Cloud Environment, With A Focus On Continuous Monitoring And Optimization.
