Senior Active Directory Engineer - IAM
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Active Directory Engineer to join our growing team at Salesforce. - Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for Salesforce.
- Maintain and enhance the security of Active Directory and IAM systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient and effective integration with other systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Active Directory and IAM.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues in the IAM environment.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for IAM systems.
- Lead and participate in the testing and validation of IAM solutions.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on Active Directory and IAM processes.
- Work closely with the security team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on the performance of IAM systems.
- Collaborate with vendors for implementation and support of IAM solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to optimize IAM systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation and handle critical incidents related to IAM systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management about project status and issues.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to IAM systems and security.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of IAM systems.
- Participate in the hiring and training of new team members.
Extensive Experience With Active Directory: A Senior Active Directory Engineer At Salesforce Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Active Directory And Its Various Components, Including Group Policy, Dns, And Dhcp. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Troubleshooting And Resolving Complex Active Directory Issues.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Identity And Access Management (Iam) Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Designing And Implementing Iam Solutions, Including Single Sign-On (Sso), Multi-Factor Authentication (Mfa), And Identity Federation. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Iam Tools Such As Okta, Ping Identity, And Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
Proficiency In Scripting And Automation: As A Senior Active Directory Engineer, The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Powershell And Python To Automate Routine Tasks And Streamline Processes. They Should Also Have Experience With Automation Tools Like Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef.
Project Management Skills: Salesforce Is A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Organization, And A Senior Active Directory Engineer Should Be Able To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. They Should Have Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams, Setting Project Timelines, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Projects.
