  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in the technology industry.
  2. Evaluate potential investments by conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  3. Build strong relationships with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and other industry experts to stay informed of market trends and potential investment opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with the investment team to develop and present investment recommendations to senior leadership.
  5. Monitor and track the performance of existing investments and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  6. Participate in negotiations and deal structuring for potential investments.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry developments to maintain a deep understanding of the market and potential investment opportunities.
  8. Represent Salesforce Ventures at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and expand the network.
  9. Mentor and develop junior members of the investment team.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve investment processes and strategies to ensure optimal performance of the portfolio.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and marketing, to support the success of investments.
  12. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions and transactions.
  13. Demonstrate a deep understanding of Salesforce's mission, values, and goals to align investment decisions with the company's overall vision.
  14. Act as a thought leader and contribute to the overall growth and success of Salesforce Ventures.

  • Proven Ability To Build Relationships: As A Key Part Of The Role Is Sourcing And Managing Relationships With Portfolio Companies, Candidates Should Have A Proven Ability To Build Strong And Effective Relationships With Founders And Entrepreneurs.

  • Strategic Mindset: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strategic Mindset, With The Ability To Analyze Market Trends And Identify Potential Investment Opportunities That Align With Salesforce's Overall Business Objectives.
