  1. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in the enterprise cloud space.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key players in the venture capital and startup community.
  3. Evaluate investment opportunities based on strategic fit, financial viability, and potential for growth.
  4. Lead due diligence efforts for potential investments, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk analysis.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to develop investment strategies and make informed investment decisions.
  6. Participate in deal negotiations and assist in structuring investment deals.
  7. Monitor and track portfolio companies' performance and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their growth goals.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and share insights with the team.
  9. Represent Salesforce Ventures at industry events and conferences.
  10. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
  11. Contribute to the growth and success of the Salesforce Ventures brand.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Venture Capital: The Ideal Candidate For A Salesforce Ventures Principal Position Should Have A Strong Background In Venture Capital, With At Least 5-7 Years Of Relevant Experience. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of The Venture Capital Landscape, Deal Evaluation, And Portfolio Management.

This Includes Experience With Financial Modeling, Valuation, And Due Diligence.
