Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Security Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Salesforce.   1. Develop and implement product security assurance strategies and processes to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Salesforce's products and services.
  2. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure software development practices.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging threats to proactively identify and address any potential security issues.
  5. Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate security gaps.
  6. Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders, including engineering teams, product managers, and senior leadership.
  7. Develop and maintain security standards and guidelines for product development.
  8. Lead and participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation.
  9. Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
  10. Drive continuous improvement of security processes and practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  11. Collaborate with third-party security vendors to ensure the security of our products and services.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on product security, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  13. Mentor and train junior members of the product security team.
  14. Participate in customer meetings and provide updates on product security measures and practices.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer data protection and privacy.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge And Experience In Developing And Implementing Security Standards And Best Practices For Software Development, Including Secure Coding Techniques And Vulnerability Assessment.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Product Security, Such As Owasp Top 10, Iso 27001, And Gdpr.

  • Experience In Conducting Security Assessments And Penetration Testing On Web And Mobile Applications.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network And Application Security Concepts, Including Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, And Secure Communication Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Influence Cross-Functional Teams On Security Matters And Drive The Adoption Of Secure Development Practices.
