- Develop and implement offensive security strategies and techniques to identify and mitigate potential cyber threats to company data and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Lead a team of security engineers and analysts, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the team's continuous growth and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all stages of the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest offensive security trends and techniques, and proactively recommend and implement improvements to the company's security posture.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to the organization on offensive security matters.
- Conduct incident response and forensic investigations in the event of a security breach.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines, related to offensive security practices.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats and take appropriate action.
- Participate in security incident response drills and exercises to ensure the company is prepared for potential cyber attacks.
- Collaborate with external security teams and vendors to stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to provide updates on offensive security initiatives and recommendations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for any security-related inquiries or incidents.
- Lead and participate in security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
- Continuously assess and improve the company's offensive security processes and procedures to ensure they align with industry best practices.
Extensive Experience In Offensive Security Testing And Vulnerability Assessment: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Performing Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, And Ethical Hacking. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Attack Vectors And Methodologies, As Well As The Ability To Think Like An Attacker.
Proficiency In Security Tools And Frameworks: A Senior/Lead Offensive Security Engineer At Salesforce Should Have A Strong Working Knowledge Of Various Security Tools And Frameworks Such As Metasploit, Burp Suite, And Kali Linux. They Should Also Be Able To Use Scripting Languages Like Python, Perl, Or Ruby To Develop Custom Exploits And Automate Tasks.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Security: Salesforce Is A Cloud-Based Platform, And As Such, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Security Principles And Best Practices. They Should Be Familiar With Cloud Service Provider Security Offerings, Including Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud.
Experience In Red Teaming Or Purple Teaming: A Senior/Lead Offensive Security Engineer Should Have Experience In Leading Red Team Or Purple Team Exercises. They Should Have The Ability To Simulate Real-World Attacks And Work Closely With The Defensive Security Team To Improve The Organization's Overall Security Posture.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior/Lead Offensive Security Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Security Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Have The Ability To Lead And Mentor Junior Team Members And Drive Security Initiatives Within The Organization.
