Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Incident Responder to join our Security team at Salesforce. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the incident response team in responding to security incidents and threats. You will also be responsible for researching, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and ensuring that appropriate countermeasures are taken.The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated individual with excellent technical and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of security best practices, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Additionally, you should have a strong working knowledge of SIEM solutions and experience with incident response processes, procedures, and documentation. Experience with cloud-based security solutions, such as those used by Salesforce, is a plus.If you are an experienced security professional with a desire to make a difference and protect our customers, then this opportunity may be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the incident response team in responding to security incidents and threats.
  2. Research, analyze, and respond to security incidents and ensure appropriate countermeasures are taken.
  3. Troubleshoot and investigate security breaches.
  4. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
  5. Utilize SIEM solutions to detect and respond to security incidents.
  6. Liaise with the Salesforce Security team and other stakeholders to ensure security incidents are identified, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
  7. Implement and maintain cloud-based security solutions.
  8. Monitor security systems and investigate anomalies.
  9. Educate and train team members on incident response processes and procedures.
  10. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
