  1. Conduct data analysis and research to support tax compliance and planning efforts.
  2. Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns and other related documents.
  3. Collaborate with tax professionals to identify and resolve tax issues.
  4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data by performing data validation and reconciliation.
  5. Develop and maintain efficient data management and reporting processes.
  6. Utilize various software programs and tools to analyze and interpret tax data.
  7. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  8. Communicate findings and recommendations to team members and management.
  9. Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests from the tax team.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive tax information.
  11. Attend training and educational sessions to further develop tax knowledge and skills.
  12. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Successful Intern In This Role Should Possess Excellent Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Large Sets Of Tax Data.

  • Knowledge Of Tax Regulations: Knowledge Of Tax Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements Is Essential For This Role. The Intern Should Be Familiar With Tax Codes And Regulations In Order To Accurately Analyze And Report On Tax Data.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis Tools: The Intern Should Have Experience With Data Analysis Tools Such As Excel, Sql, And Tableau. Knowledge Of These Tools Will Enable The Intern To Effectively Analyze And Visualize Tax Data.

  • Attention To Detail: Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role To Ensure Accuracy In Tax Reporting And Analysis. The Intern Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Any Discrepancies In Tax Data.

  • Ability To Work Independently: The Intern Should Be Able To Work Independently With Minimal Supervision. This Role Requires A High Level Of Self-Motivation And The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Projects Simultaneously.
