- Lead and manage a team of technical program managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the technical program management function within the Marketing Cloud division.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and sales, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage the full lifecycle of technical projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues and escalating when necessary.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocation to effectively manage and track project progress.
- Communicate project updates and status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting any issues or concerns.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technical program management team.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in marketing technology to drive innovation and growth for the Marketing Cloud platform.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of technical program managers to support the growth and success of the Marketing Cloud division.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization on technical program management best practices.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to manage program dependencies and ensure seamless integration with third-party technologies.
- Represent the Marketing Cloud division in internal and external events, conferences, and meetings to promote the brand and showcase technical achievements.
- Continuously monitor and report on key performance indicators and metrics to track the success and impact of technical programs within the Marketing Cloud division.
Extensive Experience In Technical Program Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Technical Program Management, Preferably In A Marketing Cloud Environment. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Be Able To Lead Cross-Functional Teams.
Deep Understanding Of Marketing Cloud: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform, Including Its Features, Capabilities, And Integrations. This Knowledge Is Crucial To Effectively Managing Technical Programs And Ensuring Successful Implementation And Delivery.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, Technical Program Management, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Program Managers. They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, And Foster A Culture Of Collaboration And Innovation.
Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Relationships With Clients And External Partners.
Project Management Certification: A Pmp (Project Management Professional) Certification Or Equivalent Is Highly Desirable For This Role. It Demonstrates The Candidate's Expertise In Project Management And Their Ability To Plan, Execute, Monitor, And Control Complex Technical Programs.
