1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere for their shopping experience.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, assisting with product location, and addressing any concerns or complaints.
3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of store layout, products, and services to effectively guide customers and answer questions.
4. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
5. Ensure a clean and organized front end area, including checkout lanes, bagging area, and entrance/exit.
6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of shopping bags, receipt paper, and other front-end supplies.
7. Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including securing cash drawers and preparing deposit.
8. Collaborate with other team members to uphold store policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
9. Communicate any customer feedback or issues to appropriate managers for resolution.
10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service and suggest process enhancements to enhance the shopping experience.
11. Cross-train and assist in other areas of the store as needed.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
13. Attend training and development sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and co-workers at all times.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
