- Perform daily warehouse tasks such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Safely operate various material handling equipment to move and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all materials are stored and handled according to company guidelines.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate material movements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, compliance with all safety and security regulations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the warehouse team and meet business needs.
Experience In Warehouse Operations: A Strong Understanding Of Warehouse Processes And Procedures, Such As Receiving, Storing, And Distributing Materials, Is Essential For A Warehouse Support Material Handler.
Forklift Certification: As A Material Handler, The Ability To Safely Operate A Forklift And Other Warehouse Equipment Is Crucial. A Valid Forklift Certification Is Typically Required For This Position.
Physical Fitness And Dexterity: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Objects And Materials. Physical Fitness And Dexterity Are Important Qualifications To Ensure The Safe And Efficient Handling Of Materials.
Attention To Detail: A Warehouse Support Material Handler Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Track And Record Inventory Levels, Identify Damaged Or Defective Items, And Maintain Proper Documentation.
