  1. Oversee the pallet repair process and ensure that all repairs meet quality standards.
  2. Lead and develop a team of skilled pallet technicians, providing training and guidance as needed.
  3. Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve efficiency and productivity.
  4. Collaborate with warehouse management to develop and implement strategies for improving pallet repair processes and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate records of pallet repair activities and inventory levels.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  8. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the pallet repair process and implement solutions.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and team development to improve skills and knowledge in pallet repair and warehouse operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Pallet Repair: The Ideal Candidate For A Warehouse Pallet Repair Team Lead Position At Ryder System Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Pallet Repair. This Experience Should Include Repairing A Variety Of Pallet Types And Sizes, As Well As Using Different Tools And Equipment.

  • Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations: A Warehouse Pallet Repair Team Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Warehouse Operations, Including Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, And Shipping And Receiving Processes. This Knowledge Is Essential For Managing The Pallet Repair Team And Ensuring Timely And Accurate Repairs.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Team Lead, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Motivate Team Members, And Resolve Conflicts. They Should Also Have Experience In Training And Developing Team Members, As Well As Conducting Performance Evaluations.

  • Attention To Detail: Pallet Repair Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Identifying And Addressing Pallet Damage, As Well As The Ability To Follow Repair Instructions And Maintain Quality Standards.
