1. Receive incoming shipments and compare contents with purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
2. Unload and sort incoming materials and products, and store them in designated locations within the warehouse.
3. Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and stack materials and products as needed.
4. Operate inventory management systems to accurately record and track inventory levels.
5. Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
6. Assist with preparing and packaging materials and products for shipment.
7. Load outgoing shipments onto trucks using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols.
8. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
9. Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
10. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
11. Identify and report any damaged or defective products.
12. Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
13. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Ryder System.
16. Continuously look for ways to improve warehouse processes and increase efficiency.
