- Operate various types of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and transport materials.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly conduct inventory counts.
- Utilize computer systems to track and locate materials within the warehouse.

Previous Warehouse Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Warehouse Setting Is Typically Required For This Position. This Experience Should Include Material Handling, Inventory Management, And Operating Warehouse Equipment Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Job Often Involves Heavy Lifting And Manual Labor, So Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Shape And Able To Lift And Move Objects Weighing Up To 50 Pounds.
Familiarity With Warehouse Operations And Safety Protocols: Material Handlers Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Warehouse Operations, Including Inventory Management, Order Picking And Packing, And Shipping And Receiving. They Should Also Be Knowledgeable About Safety Protocols And Proper Handling Of Hazardous Materials.
Forklift Certification: Many Warehouses Require Material Handlers To Be Certified To Operate Forklifts And Other Warehouse Equipment. Candidates With Prior Certification Or Willingness To Obtain It Are Highly Preferred.
