  1. Develop and implement efficient and effective warehouse processes and procedures for start-up clients.
  2. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and devise strategies to optimize warehouse operations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of warehouse processes with other business functions.
  4. Train and supervise warehouse staff on best practices, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
  5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Utilize industrial engineering principles to design and improve warehouse layouts for maximum efficiency.
  7. Develop and maintain performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.
  8. Identify and implement new technologies and systems to enhance warehouse operations.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.
  10. Act as a liaison between start-up clients and internal teams to address any concerns or issues related to warehouse operations.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the warehouse team.
  12. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of warehouse performance to management.
  13. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify potential new clients and provide expertise on warehouse operations during the sales process.
  14. Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Industrial Engineering Or Related Field: A Warehouse Lead Industrial Engineer At Ryder System Should Hold A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Industrial Engineering Or A Related Field. This Education Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills For Analyzing And Optimizing Warehouse Operations.

  • Previous Experience In Warehouse Management: A Successful Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Warehouse Management, Preferably In A Start-Up Environment. This Will Demonstrate The Ability To Adapt To New And Changing Environments, As Well As The Skills To Lead A Team And Drive Efficiency.

  • Strong Understanding Of Lean Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Lean Principles And Continuous Improvement Methodologies. This Will Allow Them To Identify And Eliminate Waste In Warehouse Operations, Leading To Increased Efficiency And Cost Savings For The Start-Up.

  • Proficient In Warehouse Management Systems: Knowledge And Experience With Warehouse Management Systems (Wms) Is Essential For A Warehouse Lead Industrial Engineer. This Technology Is Critical For Tracking Inventory, Optimizing Space Utilization, And Managing Pick And Pack Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Warehouse Lead Industrial Engineer, Effective Communication And Leadership Are Essential. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Team Members And Communicate With Stakeholders. Additionally, The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Towards A Common Goal Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
