  1. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures for start-up clients.
  2. Conduct regular process audits and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new warehouse layouts and systems.
  4. Analyze data and provide insights to optimize inventory management and reduce operational costs.
  5. Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and standard operating procedures.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  7. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste in warehouse operations.
  8. Partner with start-up clients to understand their business needs and provide customized solutions.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technology to continuously improve processes.
  10. Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  11. Communicate regularly with management and clients to provide updates on warehouse operations and performance.
  12. Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  13. Foster a culture of safety and compliance in warehouse operations.
  14. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  15. Contribute to the growth and success of start-up partners by providing strategic insights and recommendations.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Industrial Engineering Or A Related Field: A Warehouse Lead Industrial Engineer At Ryder System Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Industrial Engineering Or A Related Field To Understand The Principles And Practices Of Optimizing Warehouse Operations.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Warehouse Operations: This Position Requires Hands-On Experience In Managing Warehouse Operations, Including Inventory Control, Process Improvement, And Equipment Utilization.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Warehouse Lead Industrial Engineer, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Warehouse Associates And Drive Them Towards Achieving Operational Excellence.

  • Knowledge Of Warehouse Management Systems (Wms): The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Wms To Oversee The Implementation And Integration Of New Technology, As Well As To Troubleshoot Any System Issues.

  • Familiarity With Start-Up Environments: Working In A Start-Up Environment Requires Adaptability, Flexibility, And A Hands-On Approach. The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Start-Up Or Fast-Paced Environment To Effectively Navigate And Thrive In This Type Of Setting.
