- Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner, following all company and industry safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and/or storage areas using forklift, following proper stacking and securing procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly scanning and storing materials in designated locations.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on forklift equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to management.
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, time management, attendance, and workplace conduct.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors, providing updates on daily tasks and reporting any incidents or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following company 5S standards.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training opportunities provided by the company.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding forklift operation and workplace safety.
Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating A Forklift.
Prior Experience In Warehouse Operations: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Warehouse Operations, With A Focus On Forklift Operation, Is Preferred For This Role.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: The Job Requires Physical Strength And Stamina, As Well As The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects Up To 50 Pounds. The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform The Tasks Required For The Job.
Attention To Detail And Safety: A Forklift Operator Needs To Be Detail-Oriented And Have A Strong Focus On Safety. They Should Be Able To Follow Safety Protocols And Guidelines While Operating The Forklift, To Ensure The Safety Of Themselves And Others In The Warehouse.
