Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse by safely and efficiently handling and moving materials using a forklift.   1. Operate forklift to safely and efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse.
  2. Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  3. Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
  4. Accurately and efficiently record inventory data.
  5. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in a neat and orderly manner.
  6. Follow established safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  8. Communicate any issues or concerns regarding inventory or equipment to management.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures for increased efficiency.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  12. Participate in training and development opportunities as required.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  14. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Follow all company and industry regulations and guidelines.
  16. Flexibly and willingly take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From An Accredited Organization. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Operate A Forklift Safely And Efficiently.

  • Previous Warehouse Experience: Prior Experience Working In A Warehouse Environment Is Preferred For This Position. This Experience Helps The Candidate To Understand The Warehouse Processes And Procedures, Making It Easier For Them To Adapt To The Job.

  • Physical Stamina And Strength: Working As A Warehouse Forklift Material Handler Can Be Physically Demanding. Therefore, The Candidate Must Be Physically Fit, With The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects And Work For Extended Periods Of Time.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Forklift Material Handler, The Candidate Will Be Working In A Team Environment, Coordinating With Other Team Members And Communicating With Supervisors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For This Job.
