  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on warehouse forklifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with forklifts and implement appropriate solutions.
  3. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts to identify potential problems and address them in a timely manner.
  4. Keep detailed maintenance records and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  5. Communicate with warehouse staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to operations.
  6. Utilize knowledge of forklift systems to recommend upgrades or modifications to improve performance.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations.
  8. Assist in training new forklift operators on proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude: A Warehouse Forklift Maintenance Technician Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical Systems And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Repair Various Types Of Forklifts.

  • Experience With Forklift Maintenance: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Industrial Setting, With A Focus On Forklift Maintenance And Repair.

  • Technical Training Or Certification: A Degree In A Related Field Or A Technical Certification In Forklift Maintenance Is Preferred For This Position. This Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of The Technical Aspects Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Warehouse Forklift Maintenance Technician, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Problems Before They Become Major Issues.

  • Ability To Work Independently: This Role Requires Self-Motivation And The Ability To Work Without Direct Supervision. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Effectively To Complete Assignments In A Timely Manner.
