- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels in the warehouse.
- Prepare and package products for shipment to customers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with shipments or inventory.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Continuously seek ways to improve warehouse processes and increase efficiency.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow all quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency of products.
- Train new team members on warehouse procedures and processes.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide input for improving warehouse operations.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Warehouse Associate At Ryder System Should Have A Minimum Educational Qualification Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Previous Warehouse Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Warehouse Environment, Preferably In A Distribution Or Logistics Setting.
Forklift Certification: Since Forklift Operation Is A Crucial Aspect Of Warehouse Work, Candidates Should Possess A Valid Forklift Certification Or Be Willing To Obtain One.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: The Job Of A Warehouse Associate Involves Physical Labor Such As Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Heavy Objects, So Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Shape And Able To Perform These Tasks.
