VM/Linux/Unix Engineer

Ryder System is looking for a talented VM/Linux/Unix Engineer who can help us take our virtual environment to the next level. If you’re a motivated, organized and experienced professional who has a passion for working with virtual machines and Linux/Unix systems, this is the perfect opportunity for you.As a VM/Linux/Unix Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing our virtual environment and Linux/Unix systems. You’ll also work with our development and operations teams to ensure our infrastructure remains secure and reliable.To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in virtualization and working with Linux/Unix systems. You should also have a good understanding of networking protocols and security best practices. Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python and PowerShell is a plus.We’re looking for someone who is a team player and has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
