- Safely operate a non-CDL truck to make deliveries to various locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Complete assigned routes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload truck with products and/or materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates or delays.
- Follow company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Keep truck clean and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate loading and unloading of truck.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
- Follow all company and government regulations for transporting hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Meet and exceed performance goals and expectations set by management.
- Continuously work to improve delivery processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with team members and other departments.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to delivery services.
Valid Class C Driver's License: As A Non Cdl Truck Driver, A Valid Class C Driver's License Is Required To Operate Commercial Vehicles Up To 26,000 Pounds.
Clean Driving Record: Candidates Should Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents In The Past Three Years.
Reliable And Punctual: This Job Requires A High Level Of Reliability And Punctuality, As Drivers Are Responsible For Timely Delivery Of Goods To Customers.
Physical Fitness: Truck Driving Can Be Physically Demanding, So Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Condition To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
