- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze and report on procurement metrics to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement, implementing relevant changes to optimize procurement processes.
Extensive Experience In Procurement: A Senior Manager Agent Procurement At Ryder System Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Procurement, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing Complex Purchasing Processes And Negotiating Contracts With Suppliers.
Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires A Leader Who Can Effectively Manage A Team Of Procurement Agents And Drive Them Towards Achieving Company Goals And Objectives. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication, Coaching, And Conflict Resolution Skills.
Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management: The Senior Manager Agent Procurement Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Supply Chain Management Principles And Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Sourcing Strategies, Cost Analysis, And Inventory Management.
Strategic Thinking: This Role Involves Making Critical Decisions That Impact The Company's Bottom Line. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And The Ability To Think Strategically To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities And Drive Efficiencies In The Procurement Process.
