- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure operational excellence and exceptional service for customers.
- Manage and oversee a team of carrier coordinators to ensure efficient and effective carrier performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and onboard new carriers in order to meet customer demands.
- Monitor carrier performance and compliance with company standards, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Plan and execute carrier training and development programs to improve overall performance and quality.
- Negotiate and manage carrier contracts and rates to ensure cost-effective solutions for the company and its customers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with carriers to address any issues and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the carrier network and optimize efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with carriers, maintaining a professional and positive relationship.
- Manage and analyze carrier data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and drive business initiatives and goals.
- Communicate and report on carrier performance to upper management and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support for carrier-related issues and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
- Continuously monitor and assess carrier performance metrics to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience In Network Management: A Network Carrier Field Manager Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing And Optimizing Transportation Networks, Preferably In The Logistics Or Supply Chain Industry.
Knowledge Of Carrier Management: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Carrier Management, Including Carrier Selection, Negotiation, And Performance Monitoring. Candidates Should Have Experience In Developing And Maintaining Relationships With Carriers.
Strong Analytical Skills: As A Network Carrier Field Manager, One Must Have Strong Analytical Skills To Analyze And Interpret Data Related To Transportation And Carrier Performance. Proficiency In Using Data Analysis Tools Such As Excel Or Tableau Is Essential.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: This Position Requires Frequent Communication With Carriers, Internal Teams, And Customers. A Successful Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills And Be Able To Lead And Influence Others Effectively.
