  1. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on all HR-related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, benefits, and policies and procedures.
  2. Serve as a strategic partner to department leaders, understanding their business objectives and providing HR solutions to support their goals.
  3. Develop and implement HR initiatives and programs that align with the company's overall goals and values, including diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  4. Conduct investigations and make recommendations for resolution of employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
  5. Proactively identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and retention through effective communication, training, and development programs.
  6. Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Stay current on HR best practices and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  8. Partner with recruitment and talent management teams to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  9. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  10. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR data.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive company-wide initiatives and projects.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting the company's culture and values.
  13. Conduct training and development sessions on HR-related topics and policies.
  14. Participate in and lead HR special projects as assigned by senior leadership.
  15. Act as an advocate for employees, promoting open communication and ensuring their needs are being met.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or A Related Field: A Human Resource Partner At Ryder System Should Have A Solid Educational Background In Human Resources To Effectively Handle The Responsibilities Of The Role.

  • Prior Experience In Human Resources: To Be Successful In This Role, Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Human Resources Role, Preferably As A Business Partner Or Hr Generalist.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Human Resource Partner, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Employees At All Levels, As Well As Management, To Address Any Issues And Provide Solutions.

  • Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: A Thorough Understanding Of Employment Laws And Regulations Is Essential For A Human Resource Partner To Ensure Compliance And Avoid Any Legal Issues For The Company.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Human Resource Partner Must Be Able To Think Critically And Strategically To Address Complex Hr Issues And Provide Effective Solutions That Align With The Company's Goals And Values. They Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Handle Any Challenges That May Arise.
