Extensive Experience In Supply Chain Management: A Glm At Ryder System Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Including Experience In Logistics, Transportation, And Warehousing.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Glm Should Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Logistics Professionals, With The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Foster A Positive Work Culture.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Key Decision-Maker, The Glm Must Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Solve Complex Logistics Challenges, Along With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.
Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance: The Glm Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Transportation And Logistics, As Well As Compliance Standards For Safety, Security, And Environmental Sustainability.
Effective Communication And Relationship Management: The Glm Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With Internal Teams, External Partners, And Clients. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record In Building And Maintaining Strong Relationships With Key Stakeholders.
