- Oversee logistics operations for multiple sites within the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the transportation and supply chain processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive results.
- Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods and materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and operations, to optimize logistics processes and meet customer demands.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, carriers, and suppliers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in the logistics operations.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for logistics operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the logistics team.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Serve as a point of contact for any logistics-related inquiries or concerns from customers.
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment for all team members.
Bachelor's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Management, Preferably In A Group Or Multi-Site Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills And Proven Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.
Extensive Knowledge Of Logistics And Supply Chain Processes, Including Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory Management, And Distribution.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Relationships With Customers And Vendors.
