In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics operations of multiple facilities, ensuring efficient and effective transportation of goods and materials.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics operations across multiple facilities.
  2. Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  3. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
  4. Oversee the performance and development of logistics team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.
  6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  7. Manage relationships with external vendors and carriers to negotiate rates and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, procurement, and finance teams.
  9. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize excess inventory.
  10. Develop and maintain transportation and logistics budgets, providing regular cost analysis and recommendations for cost reduction.
  11. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in logistics operations.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  13. Resolve any issues or delays in transportation and logistics operations, ensuring minimal impact on customer satisfaction.
  14. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  15. Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain logistics management systems.
  16. Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management on logistics performance and initiatives.
  17. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Logistics And Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Group Or Multi-Site Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing Teams Of Logistics Professionals.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Transportation, Warehousing, And Inventory Management Processes And Best Practices.

  • Experience With Implementing And Utilizing Transportation Management Systems (Tms) And Warehouse Management Systems (Wms).
