Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employee Relations Partner to join our dynamic team at Ryder System. As an Employee Relations Partner, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive working relationships between our company and our employees. Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance and support to our managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters.   1. Serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations issues and inquiries from managers and employees.
  2. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a variety of employee relations matters, including but not limited to conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints or conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations, in alignment with company values and legal requirements.
  5. Keep up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to employment and employee relations, and ensure the company's practices are in compliance.
  6. Collaborate with HR team members to develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics.
  7. Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  8. Proactively identify potential employee relations issues and work with managers to address them in a timely and effective manner.
  9. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement in employee relations and make recommendations for action.
  10. Serve as an advocate for employees, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed.
  11. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  12. Act as a liaison between employees and management to promote open communication and positive working relationships.
  13. Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed to support the overall goals of the department and the company.
  14. Continuously strive to improve employee engagement and promote a positive work culture.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Employee Relations Or A Related Hr Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Conflict And Build Relationships.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Conducting Investigations, Resolving Employee Complaints, And Providing Guidance On Disciplinary Actions.
