Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Employee Relations Partner to join our team at Ryder System. As an Employee Relations Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting and promoting a positive work culture and employee satisfaction.   1. Facilitate positive employee relations: The Employee Relations Partner will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with employees and promoting a healthy work culture.
  2. Address workplace issues: The individual in this role will be responsible for addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Develop solutions: The Employee Relations Partner will work with various departments and employees to identify solutions to workplace issues and implement effective strategies to promote a positive work environment.
  4. Ensure compliance: The individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to employee relations.
  5. Collaborate with departments: The Employee Relations Partner will collaborate with various departments, including HR, legal, and management, to address employee relations matters and develop solutions.
  6. Conduct investigations: The individual will be responsible for conducting investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, and other workplace issues.
  7. Advise and educate: The Employee Relations Partner will provide guidance and education to managers and employees on employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices.
  8. Maintain records: The individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential records related to employee relations matters.
  9. Monitor trends: The Employee Relations Partner will monitor employee relations trends and make recommendations for improvement to promote a positive work culture.
  10. Promote employee satisfaction: The individual will play a critical role in promoting employee satisfaction by addressing workplace issues and creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
  11. Communicate effectively: The Employee Relations Partner will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  12. Remain current on laws and regulations: The individual will stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures.
  13. Act with empathy: The Employee Relations Partner will approach all employee relations matters with empathy and understanding, creating a safe and supportive environment for employees.
  14. Handle sensitive information: The individual will handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Employee Relations Or Human Resources Role

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Handle Sensitive Situations

  • Previous Experience In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Work Environment, Preferably In The Transportation Or Logistics Industry.
