- Lead and mentor a team of mechanics to ensure high quality work and productivity.
- Utilize expertise and technical knowledge to diagnose and solve complex mechanical issues.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning of fleet vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on repairs and maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in diesel engine technology.
- Train and onboard new mechanics to the team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding maintenance and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
- Assist in managing budgets and controlling costs related to vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure fleet efficiency and productivity.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Extensive Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Diesel Mechanic, With A Strong Focus On Commercial Fleet Vehicles.
Technical Expertise: In-Depth Knowledge Of Diesel Engines, Transmissions, And Other Vehicle Systems, As Well As Proficiency In Diagnostic Tools And Software.
Strong Leadership Skills: Ability To Lead A Team Of Mechanics And Effectively Delegate Tasks, As Well As Provide Guidance And Training To Junior Technicians.
Ase Certification: Possession Of At Least One Ase Certification, With A Preference For Multiple Certifications In Areas Such As Diesel Engines, Brakes, And Electrical Systems.
