  1. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of diesel trucks
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  3. Troubleshoot and identify complex mechanical and electrical problems
  4. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately diagnose and repair issues
  5. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repairs and maintenance needs
  8. Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge
  10. Meet productivity and efficiency goals set by company standards
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
  12. Follow company guidelines and procedures for proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
  13. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
  14. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by the company
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Diesel Engines: A Qualified Diesel Mechanic Truck Technician At Ryder System Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Diesel Engines And Their Components. This Includes Experience With Troubleshooting, Diagnosing, And Repairing Various Diesel Engine Issues.
