  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
  2. Learn and understand the basics of diesel engine systems, including fuel, ignition, emissions, and cooling systems.
  3. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used and labor hours.
  4. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and procedures.
  5. Assist in ordering and organizing parts and supplies needed for repairs.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Continuously learn and update knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and self-study.
  9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards learning and growth.
  11. Follow all environmental and safety regulations while performing job duties.
  12. Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor at all times.
  13. Assist in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues under the supervision of experienced mechanics.
  14. Complete tasks and projects assigned by supervisors in a timely and efficient manner.
  15. Communicate any safety concerns or potential hazards to supervisors immediately.
