We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Diesel Fuel Island Attendant. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our diesel fuel island.   1. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the diesel fuel island on a daily basis.
  2. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of fuel tanks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  4. Assist customers with fueling their vehicles and provide exceptional customer service.
  5. Keep accurate records of fuel transactions and maintain inventory levels.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with fuel pumps or equipment.
  7. Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to appropriate team members.
  8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
  9. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
  10. Follow all environmental regulations and guidelines when handling fuel and disposing of waste.
  11. Train and supervise new employees on fuel island procedures and best practices.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  13. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
  14. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on industry trends and new equipment.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the fuel island and company.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Diesel Fuel Systems: A Diesel Fuel Island Attendant At Ryder System Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Diesel Fuel Systems, Including How To Properly Operate Fuel Pumps, Handle Fueling Equipment, And Troubleshoot Basic Maintenance Issues.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Diesel Fuel Island Attendant, You Will Interact With Customers On A Daily Basis. It Is Essential To Have Excellent Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Handle Difficult Situations Professionally.
