  1. Oversee and manage the transportation operations for assigned clients within the Dedicated Transportation division.
  2. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure their transportation needs are met and exceeded.
  3. Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and maintenance, to develop and execute transportation strategies that align with client objectives.
  5. Hire, train, and supervise a team of transportation professionals to ensure the timely and accurate execution of transportation services.
  6. Ensure compliance with all applicable industry regulations and company policies.
  7. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise with clients or within the transportation operations.
  8. Continuously monitor and evaluate transportation processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
  9. Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized transportation solutions that meet their unique requirements.
  10. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals and objectives.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the transportation operations.
  12. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and promptly addressing any customer concerns or issues.
  13. Monitor and manage transportation budgets to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
  14. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members to support their professional growth and development.
  15. Represent Ryder System and the Dedicated Transportation division at industry events and conferences to promote our services and network with potential clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Transportation And Logistics, With A Focus On Dedicated Transportation.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Dot Regulations And Compliance.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing And Developing Successful Customer Relationships.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Drivers And Logistics Coordinators.
