Job Description

Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN/Edge network equipment and related services across multiple geographies. Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems of varying degrees of complexity. Install and maintain network hardware in remote co-location facilities. Assist in network operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration. Interface with various service providers to deploy and maintain transport circuits. Interface with developers and business stakeholders to identify requirements and recommend and engineer solutions as agreed upon by the team. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in network engineering related fields.

  • Solid understanding of Cisco NX-OS or Arista EOS operating systems.

  • Solid understanding of the BGP routing protocol

  • Experience with other routing protocols like EIGRP and or OSPF

  • Experience with layer 2/3 switching/routing technologies, VXLAN, VLAN, EVPN, VPC, MLAG

  • Experience with load balancer technologies like F5 LTM or A10 ADC.
