  1. Conduct research and analysis on patent laws and regulations related to the pharmaceutical industry.
  2. Assist in drafting and filing patent applications with relevant intellectual property offices.
  3. Work closely with senior patent attorneys to review and analyze patent portfolios.
  4. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists and business leaders, to understand and protect intellectual property.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in patent law.
  6. Participate in patent strategy discussions and provide input based on legal and scientific knowledge.
  7. Conduct due diligence on potential patent acquisitions or partnerships.
  8. Support patent litigation efforts, including preparing legal documents and assisting with trial preparation.
  9. Attend conferences and seminars to expand knowledge and network within the field.
  10. Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
  11. Assist with administrative tasks related to patent processes, such as docketing and managing patent timelines.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.
  13. Collaborate with other trainees and team members to learn and share knowledge.
  14. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the patent department and the company as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Discipline, Such As Chemistry, Biology, Or Biochemistry, From An Accredited University.

  • A Strong Understanding Of Intellectual Property Law, Including Patent Prosecution And Patent Portfolio Management.

  • Excellent Research And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Analyze Scientific And Technical Information.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Concepts To Different Audiences.

  • Enthusiasm For Learning And A Strong Commitment To Professional Development, With A Desire To Become A Registered Patent Attorney.
