We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Data & Analytics for our Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development (pRED) division. This individual will play a critical role in driving the development of innovative data and analytics strategies to support our drug discovery and development efforts.   1. Develop and implement data and analytics strategies to support drug discovery and development efforts within the pRED division.
  2. Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of data and analytics professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams including R&D, commercial, and IT to identify opportunities for data and analytics-driven decision making.
  4. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data and analytics, applying relevant insights and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  5. Drive the development and implementation of data governance and standards to ensure data integrity and quality.
  6. Oversee the management and maintenance of data systems and platforms, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  7. Collaborate with global teams to identify and prioritize data and analytics needs and build a roadmap for implementation.
  8. Work closely with senior leadership to define key performance indicators and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure progress against business goals.
  9. Act as a thought leader and advocate for data and analytics, driving a culture of data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
  10. Foster strong relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage cutting-edge technologies and data sources.
  11. Provide guidance and support to other departments on data and analytics-related initiatives and projects.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements related to data and analytics.
  13. Serve as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic input and recommendations to drive overall business success.
  14. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of data and analytics strategies and make adjustments as needed to achieve business objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data And Analytics: The Svp Should Have A Strong Background In Data And Analytics, With At Least 10 Years Of Experience In This Field. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Management, Data Analysis, And Data-Driven Decision Making.

  • Leadership Skills: As The Global Head Of Data And Analytics For Pred, The Svp Must Have Exceptional Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Data Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Provide Strategic Direction, Mentor Employees, And Foster A Collaborative And Innovative Work Environment.

  • Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: A Thorough Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical Industry Is Essential For This Role. The Svp Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of Drug Development Processes, Regulatory Requirements, And Market Dynamics To Effectively Leverage Data And Analytics For Business Growth.

  • Business Acumen: In Addition To Technical Expertise, The Svp Should Possess Strong Business Acumen. This Includes The Ability To Identify Business Opportunities, Develop Data-Driven Strategies, And Communicate Insights To Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Advanced Degree In Data-Related Field: A Master's Or Doctoral Degree In A Data-Related Field, Such As Data Science, Computer Science, Or Statistics, Is Typically Required For This Role. This Advanced Education Provides The Necessary Technical Skills And Knowledge To Effectively Lead The Data And Analytics Function At A Global Level.
