As a Pharmacy Technician at Roche, you will be playing an integral role in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. You will be an important part of the healthcare team, assisting pharmacists with the preparation and distribution of medications, as well as providing excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you must be organized and detail-oriented, with excellent customer service skills and a passion for healthcare. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and several years of experience working in a pharmacy setting. You must also be certified, or eligible to become certified, by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Knowledge of medical terminology, brand and generic drugs, and aseptic technique is also required. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to pharmacy customers, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in the pharmacy.
- Ensure patient safety and satisfaction by double-checking prescriptions and following safety protocols.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, brand and generic drugs, and aseptic technique.
- Keep records of prescriptions and other pharmacy documents.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Adhere to Roche’s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
