In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of passionate individuals who provide support to our employees across Germany.   1. Lead and manage a team of People Support specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity, with a focus on providing exceptional support to employees.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and concerns from German-speaking employees.
  4. Use your fluency in German to communicate effectively with both team members and employees, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  5. Collaborate with other teams within the organization to identify and address any HR-related issues or concerns.
  6. Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws to ensure compliance in all HR-related matters.
  7. Create and maintain documentation and records related to employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  8. Train and onboard new team members, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their roles.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development to team members.
  10. Act as a role model and mentor for team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the People Support team.
  12. Handle escalated employee concerns and complaints, utilizing problem-solving skills and empathy to find effective resolutions.
  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives and projects.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions with employees and colleagues.
  15. Embody the company's values and promote a positive image of Roche as an employer.

Job Qualifications
  • Fluency In German: As A People Support Team Lead At Roche, It Is Essential To Be Fluent In German As This Role Requires Interacting With German-Speaking Employees And Providing Support In Their Native Language.

  • Previous Leadership Experience: This Role Requires Leadership Skills As The People Support Team Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Support Specialists. Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Similar Industry, Is Highly Preferred.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role As The People Support Team Lead Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Employees And Other Stakeholders In Both English And German. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must-Have.

  • Human Resources Knowledge: A Solid Understanding Of Human Resources Processes And Policies Is Necessary For This Role. The People Support Team Lead Will Be Responsible For Providing Guidance To Employees On Hr-Related Matters And Ensuring Compliance With Company Policies.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Roche Places A Strong Emphasis On Providing Excellent Customer Service To Its Employees. The People Support Team Lead Must Have A Customer-Centric Mindset And Be Able To Handle Employee Inquiries And Concerns With Empathy And Professionalism.
