- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams, to drive the successful launch of new treatments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in ophthalmology, and use this knowledge to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent Roche and our ophthalmic products at key scientific conferences and meetings, and establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the field.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and standards in the development and commercialization of ophthalmic treatments.
- Serve as a key liaison between Roche and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure the success of ophthalmic treatments.
- Continuously evaluate and assess the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.
- Lead and participate in various committees and working groups to drive cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
Medical Degree And Board Certification In Ophthalmology: The Medical Director Must Have A Strong Foundation In Medicine And A Specialized Knowledge In Ophthalmology, As Demonstrated By A Medical Degree And Board Certification In The Field.
Extensive Experience In Ophthalmology Practice: Roche Is Seeking A Medical Director With At Least 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Ophthalmology, Including A Strong Track Record Of Diagnosing And Treating A Variety Of Eye Diseases And Conditions.
Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate With Proven Leadership And Management Skills, As The Medical Director Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Ophthalmologists And Other Healthcare Professionals.
