  1. Participate in the manufacturing of biotechnology products, including production planning, execution, and documentation.
  2. Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure the quality and integrity of the products.
  3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments used in the production process.
  4. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all production activities.
  6. Continuously monitor and evaluate processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biotechnology to contribute to the development of new products and processes.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements for the production of biotechnology products.
  9. Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in biotechnology and manufacturing.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency in the production process.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and timely production.
  12. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards learning and growth within the company.
  13. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment by actively contributing to team meetings and discussions.
  14. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the manufacturing team and the company's goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biotechnology Or A Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Biotechnology Is Essential For A Manufacturing Biotechnologist. This Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills In Areas Such As Molecular Biology, Genetics, And Biochemistry.

  • Experience With Manufacturing Processes: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience With Biotechnology Manufacturing Processes, Such As Cell Culture, Fermentation, And Purification. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Internships, Co-Ops, Or Previous Work Experience.

  • Knowledge Of Gmp Regulations: Roche Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Current Good Manufacturing Practices (Cgmp) Guidelines. This Includes Knowledge Of Documentation And Quality Control Procedures.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Manufacturing Biotechnologists Must Be Able To Analyze Data, Troubleshoot Issues, And Propose Solutions To Improve Manufacturing Processes. Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Data Analysis And Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Part Of A Larger Manufacturing Team, A Manufacturing Biotechnologist Must Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills. This Includes The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Colleagues, As Well As Effectively Communicate With Other Departments And External Partners.
