  1. Lead and oversee the laboratory team in conducting research on neuromuscular diseases.
  2. Develop and implement research strategies and protocols to effectively achieve the company's mission of improving patient outcomes.
  3. Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in the field of neuromuscular disease research and incorporate them into the company's research efforts.
  4. Manage and allocate resources, including budget and personnel, to ensure efficient and effective operation of the laboratory.

  6. Supervise and mentor junior researchers and provide guidance and support in their professional development.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to safety protocols and ethical standards.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities and results.
  9. Analyze research data and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies for neuromuscular diseases through innovative and cutting-edge research.
  11. Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and other scientific events to showcase our research and expertise in the field.

Job Qualifications
  • Phd In Neuroscience Or Related Field: A Laboratory Head In Neuromuscular Disease At Roche Should Possess A Phd In A Relevant Discipline, Such As Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Or Neurology. This Advanced Degree Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of The Scientific Principles And Techniques Necessary For Leading A Laboratory Focused On Neuromuscular Diseases.

  • Extensive Experience In Neuromuscular Disease Research: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Neuromuscular Disease Research, With A Track Record Of Publications And Successful Projects In This Field. This Experience Will Enable The Laboratory Head To Effectively Guide The Direction Of Research At Roche And Contribute To The Development Of New Therapies For Neuromuscular Diseases.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: As A Laboratory Head, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Scientists And Technicians. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Management Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Set Goals And Objectives, And Effectively Communicate With Colleagues And Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: Roche Is A Highly Regulated Company, And The Laboratory Head Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Regulatory Requirements For Conducting Research And Developing Therapies For Neuromuscular Diseases. This Includes Knowledge Of Fda And Ema Guidelines, As Well As Experience In Preparing And Submitting Regulatory Documents.

  • Collaborative And Innovative Mindset: In Order To Drive Progress And Innovation In Neuromuscular Disease Research, The Laboratory Head Should Have A Collaborative And Innovative Mindset. This Includes A Willingness To Collaborate With Colleagues Across Different Departments And Utilize Cutting-Edge Technologies And Techniques To Advance Research At Roche.
