  1. Conduct proteomics experiments and data analysis to identify potential drug targets.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute experiments and assays.
  3. Analyze and interpret proteomics data, troubleshoot any technical issues, and propose solutions.
  4. Communicate research findings and recommendations to team members and management.
  5. Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Biochemistry Or A Related Field: A Lab Scientist In Functional Proteomics At Roche Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Biochemistry Or A Related Field. A Higher Degree, Such As A Ph.d., Is Preferred.

  • Expertise In Functional Proteomics Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Functional Proteomics Techniques, Such As Mass Spectrometry, Protein Arrays, And Protein-Protein Interaction Assays. They Should Also Be Familiar With Data Analysis And Interpretation.

  • Experience In Drug Discovery And Development: Roche Is A Pharmaceutical Company, And Experience In Drug Discovery And Development Is Highly Desired For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Drug Discovery Process And How Functional Proteomics Can Contribute To It.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Lab Scientist In Functional Proteomics Should Be Able To Design And Execute Experiments, Analyze Data, And Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Potential Problems And Propose Solutions.
