
IT Support Specialist
We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team at Roche and provide technical support to our employees. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving a range of technical issues, ensuring users’ technical needs are met, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You should have a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving. The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They should also have a solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology solutions. A technical degree or certifications are a plus. Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries related to technical issues and provide resolutions to their problems.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and other related peripherals.
- Set up new user accounts and manage user access rights in accordance with company policy.
- Identify and document system issues and escalate as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and update IT support documentation.
- Keep up to date with the latest IT technologies and industry trends.
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks and checks.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to end-users.
- Monitor and maintain network performance.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve system performance.
